We are currently seeking a dynamic Cybersecurity Support Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.As a Cybersecurity Support Engineer, you will:Support Fortinet’s customers globally and may travel within APAC region to meet up customer when necessary.

Understand customer network/security implementation and requirement technically.

Perform technical issue analysis, troubleshooting and consultation for customer.

Provide effective communication with customers and colleagues.

Manage customer expectation correctly.

Provide technical solution recommendation or workaround for any Fortinet product model limitation/known issue.

Perform customer case management and escalation.

Reproduce customer issue/bug in Fortinet APAC lab.

Perform Fortinet’s Product bug management and escalation to engineering team.

Provide technical consultation to Level-1 engineer.

Keep improving on technical knowledge and updating latest network/security technology and protocols.

Have knowledge, idea and experience sharing within the team.

We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:7+ years of experience in network and cybersecurity roles, preferably in enterprise, service provider, or security vendor environments.

Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet products, especially Forti Gate, including policy design, VPNs, routing, NAT, UTM features, and high availability (HA).Deep understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, packet flow, and protocol behavior, with strong troubleshooting skills using packet capture and logs.

Proven experience in Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking and dynamic routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP), including real-world deployment and optimization.

Solid knowledge of network security technologies, including Firewall, IPS, Anti-Malware, Web Filtering, Application Control, DDoS protection, and Zero Trust concepts.

Experience operating in high-severity (P1/P2) incident environments, demonstrating strong ownership, urgency, and the ability to lead technical resolution efforts.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.

Strong customer-oriented mindset, capable of managing escalations and maintaining customer confidence during critical outages.

Experience working in multi-vendor and system integration environments, integrating Fortinet solutions with third-party networking and security platforms.

Hands-on exposure to Fortinet management and analytics platforms, such as Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, FortiEMS, and Forti Authenticator.

Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, including log analysis and system-level troubleshooting.

Experience with data center network deployments, including HA design, redundancy, and scalability.

Basic knowledge of SQL databases and their interaction with security or logging systems is an advantage.

Fortinet and industry certifications are highly desirable, including:NSE 4 / NSE 7FCNSPCISSP, CCNP, CCSPBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
