As a Software QA Engineer, you will:

• Plannedly introduce and operate test automation tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of software development for Forti SwitchAX products.
• Identify areas within the software development lifecycle that can be automated, and implement automation using the necessary test code, test tools, test frameworks, and other resources.
• Understand how automation can improve processes and identify areas for improvement.
• By establishing an automated testing environment, we enable the early detection of defects and bugs, ensuring the quality of software and systems, and delivering products that satisfy users.

We Are Looking For:

An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:

• 2+ years of software test experience in the IT/software industry.
• Experience in network testing including validating network behavior, generating traffic and performing load testing using measurement equipment (IXIA etc.).
• A desire to improve your engineering skills and actively learn Python and other programming languages.
• Proactive efforts to ensure high quality in the following automation areas.
• Network device configuration changes
• OS version upgrades
• IP address management
• Initial response to incidents
• Backup of configuration information
• Monitoring and reporting
• Emphasis on teamwork.
• Inquisitiveness for new technology.
• Motivation to develop high quality products.
• Native level Japanese
• Ability to read and understand English documents, ability to communicate in English via email
• Ability to speak English is a plus
