Requirements:

• Run manual development and release testing of Forti Gate related products.

• Setup and maintain various test systems involving multiple network components, using physical, virtual machines (VM) or Kubernetes, etc.

• Implement and maintain automated test software using Python scripting language

• Handle customer responses and issues

• Research the latest developments in cybersecurity, conduct competitive analyses, and continuously incorporate new technologies, methodologies, and features into product designs.

• Work close to developers

Job Skills Required:

• Experience Level - 5 Years and above

• Solid understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP and HTTPS/SSL, as well as routing and switching technologies.

• Knowledge of OpenSSL, Apache, Iptables, MySQL, Tcpdump and Wireshark

• Good knowledge of security, i.e. firewall, encryption, PKI, x509 certificates

• Experience with programming or scripting skills (Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, Bash, Powershell, etc.)

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $79,700 - $97,400 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
