As Industrialization Lead in the EV Externally Purchased Power Unit group, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support Design Competitions to optimize costs and ensure program profitability

  • Manage milestone cadence within GPDS parameters

  • Lead milestone assessments, communication documents and reporting up to Director levels

  • Collect and enter Integrator assessments

  • Lead TPMT (Transmission Product Management Team) for your commodity

  • Oversee commodity timing to align with program schedules

  • Develop actionable work plans to address commodity issues, escalating as needed up thru director level

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for Power Unit matters in Program PMT meetings

  • Manage the commodity financials

  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Systems Engineering, Finance

  • Manage BOM/FEDE-BOM and support WERS release activities

Key qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the program delivery process or comparable development process

  • 5+ years of Automotive experience, working cross functionally to develop new technology

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to motivate both internal teams and external partners to deliver products on time, within budget, with high quality and meeting all function specs

  • Strong communication skills, program control skills which can drive the deliverables hardly and effectively

  • Proven problem-solving skills to address commodity issues and effectively communicate solutions and status to upper management

Desired Abilities and Tools:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Business Administration (considered)

  • Knowledge of Power Unit function and controls

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, One Note, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Ford-specific applications like WERS, Integrator, and FEDE.

This position is a salary grade 5 - 8. Potential salary can range anywhere from $65,100 - $166,200
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
