You’ll have at least one of the following:

Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship OR
A combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade OR
8 years of applicable experience

Even better if you have one of more of the following:

Proficiency in reading hardware and ladder logic prints
Troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems and equipment (e.g. Fanuc. ABB, Kawasaki)
Working knowledge with PLCs (e.g. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Control Logix)
Knowledge of servo controls
Knowledge of variable frequency drives
