You will join our European Talent Acquisition Team, reporting to our Talent Acquisition Director.

You’ll help us attract, hire, and retain the top talent we need to achieve our vision. You’ll play a vital role in defining, developing, and maintaining the winning culture that empowers diverse individuals to work together and create the impossible. We’re seeking change leaders, talent strategists, employee advocates, and culture architects to enable our teams, partners, and businesses to do and be their best.

The role.

As the Recruiting Manager, you will lead a team to design and deliver recruitment strategies with an emphasis on sourcing technical and hard-to-find talent. You will build strong relationships with and advise leaders and stakeholders on how to attract and hire quality talent. You will work with the TA operations team to develop seamless process improvements to ensure optimal candidate and hiring manager experience.

This is a highly visible European position, which interacts with all levels of the organisation across multiple functions. The selected candidate will provide subject matter expertise on all talent acquisition strategies, policies, and programmes to ensure the organisation can innovatively and successfully attract and engage top talent.

To be successful in this role you will need:

European Talent Acquisition experience leading & managing recruiting teams in a regional corporate environment.

Experience in International and executive recruitment expertise.

Experience of work councils’ partnership/delivery.

Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).

Even better, you may have:

  • Experience managing a recruiting function through significant change (new systems, processes, tools).
  • Proven success managing difficult searches, juggling competing priorities, and handling high requisition loads.
  • Demonstrated background in recruitment strategy, conception, and development.
  • Organisational, communication, leadership, and client service skills.
  • Experience building and optimising recruiting infrastructure (e.g., recruiting strategy, budget, tools.

What you will do:

Lead, coach, and inspire a team of recruiters to deliver quality talent for Ford.

  • Help transform the talent acquisition function from reactive to proactive in support of key capabilities as the company transforms.
  • Develop and lead recruitment strategies and recommendations based on data analysis and metrics-driven execution.
  • Own and report recruiting metrics to the TA and business leadership team.
  • Partner closely with all levels of the organisation, including the leadership team and key operating partners, to ensure there is a healthy collaboration with recruiting and all team members.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external recruitment vendors such as independent consultants, search firms, etc.
  • Manage a team of recruiters – reviewing monthly progress and supporting the team in meeting recruitment goals.
