
Director, Ford Racing Go-To-Market at Ford
About the role
The Ford Racing Go-To-Market Director will own the co-creation and execution of an integrated go-to-market strategy for the Ford Racing brand in partnership with cross-functional teams, the Ford Dealer network, and key external partners. This role will establish a new framework that unifies all major Ford Racing brand touchpoints — from driving experiences and live events to retail, digital, and immersive brand experiences — into a cohesive ecosystem designed to bring the Ford Racing brand to life for enthusiast customers. The ecosystem will engage audiences across the full spectrum of fandom, from dedicated racers to consumers who simply aspire to the culture, energy, and lifestyle of racing.
Y ou'll Have...
- Strong interest in motorsports and performance vehicles, a deep passion for all things auto is helpful
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar field, ideally with an MBA
- 10+ years working in consumer goods, potentially retail, with some experience in the premium and luxury spaces
- Experience working directly or indirectly with Ford Dealers
- Deep critical thinking to evaluate profit-driving programs, including tracking metrics to shift focus beyond that of marketing spend
- Capability to easily work beyond boundaries, being a conduit to bring together disparate PoV owners across the Ford enterprise
- Strong point of view leveraging data to form a voice of the customer
- Experience marketing to enthusiastic customers driven by passion vs logic, bonus if it’s in automotive
- A comfort in ambiguity – building the structure to create change in the trajectory of Ford Racing

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.

What you’ll do…
- Build and implement experience touchpoints for a wide-range of target customers, from those that religiously watch Ford Racing on track to tapping into a budding automotive passion with the Alpha generation
- Lead development of brand touchpoints, driven by structured metrics in order to tie success to Ford Racing priorities
- Drive commercial and operational improvement in established areas like Driving Experiences, delivering new elements to expand our addressable market while executing continuous improvement and customer delight opportunities
- Enhance the brand focus with our dealers, co-building and deploying programming aimed at extending the brand and brand ecosystem to Ford dealers
- Engineer new experiences, in the both physical and digital world meant to create brand touchpoints as well as value-creation opportunities as optimal across the range of target customers
- Partner cross functionally to explore brand-building and profit potential in Ford Racing Parts and Heritage Vehicles
- Lead the development, and refresh, of a 5-year cycle plan vision for all experiences, while program managing the delivery over time
- Carefully work cross-functionally with marketing, brand, strategy, customer insights, and numerous partners throughout Ford Racing and beyond
Successful candidates will be able to balance contributing to multiple topics simultaneously with support from the Go-To-Market team and beyond. Topics may range from driving experiences, travel adventures, product reveals, partner brand activations, brand events, digital racing, and much more.
