Position Duties The Credit Bureau Reporting and Dispute Analyst position duties may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
- Complete scheduled reviews of credit bureau processes to ensure consumer tradelines are accurately reported
- Become central point of contact in the organization for all credit reporting and credit history dispute matters
- Complete scheduled reviews of responses to consumer disputes submitted to ensure the accuracy of response
- Prepare reports and present finding of reviews
- Develop and track corrective actions where needed and drive to resolution
- Become well versed with the Credit Reporting Resource Guide and Metro 2 Format
- Develop action plans, track open issues and provide status updates to management on a regular basis
- Maintain an effective working relationship with representatives from the Consumer Reporting Agencies
- Support company initiatives and special projects from a credit reporting perspective
- Provide testing support on system changes that are implemented
- Sponsor all credit bureau and consumer dispute related procedures
- Provide support to credit bureau related administrative tasks
