Project Manager

About your role:

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and highly capable Senior Project Manager to serve strategic clients across the Middle East and Africa region. The role is based in Dubai and may require periodic travel within the UAE based on programme needs.

This role is suited to a senior delivery professional (15–20 years’ experience) who can operate confidently in complex, regulated payment environments and manage large, multi‑stream programmes end‑to‑end.

What you’ll do

• Project Delivery & Governance
• Manage multiple concurrent BAU, change, and transformation programmes with varied scope and complexity. Own the full delivery lifecycle from initiation through closure. Lead large‑scale card issuing data migration programmes, including migration strategy, rehearsals, cutovers, and rollback planning.
• Drive adoption of AI‑enabled delivery approaches, such as
• Automated status reporting and dashboards. Predictive risk and dependency analysis. Data‑driven milestone and capacity planning.
• Client Engagement
• Act as the primary delivery interface for assigned clients. Lead governance forums, working sessions, and executive status reviews. Use AI‑supported insights to strengthen client communications, forecasting, and decision‑making. Proactively manage escalations and maintain trusted senior‑level relationships.
• Cross‑Functional Coordination
• Orchestrate delivery across global, onshore, and offshore teams. Coordinate effectively across Product, Technology, Architecture, Operations, Compliance, and Integration. Work with payment schemes (Visa, Mastercard), third‑party vendors, and regulators where required. Promote consistent use of automation and AI tooling across delivery teams to reduce manual effort.
• Risk, Issue & Change Management
• Proactively identify and manage delivery, regulatory, operational, and migration‑specific risks. Apply AI‑assisted risk identification and trend analysis where appropriate. Manage scope changes, CRs, and client expectations through strong governance. Ensure compliance with Fiserv standards and regional regulatory frameworks.
• Financial & Commercial Accountability
• Track budgets, resource utilisation, and commercial exposure. Use automation and AI‑driven analysis to improve forecasting accuracy and cost transparency. Support SOW development, effort estimation, and contract updates. Partner with sales and commercial teams as required.

Experience you need to have:

• 15–20 years of experience in project or programme management within payments, card processing, or financial services technology. Strong delivery track record in credit card issuing and large‑scale data migration programmes.
• Practical experience using AI and automation to streamline delivery, governance, and reporting, not just assistive tooling.
• Experience working with regulated clients in the Middle East and/or Africa.
• Strong understanding of card issuing platforms, data flows, and migration risks.
