We’re looking for a Senior Accountant that will work in our International Accounting department, reporting into the Director, International Accounting,

This role will be a hybrid role, based in Dublin.

What you'll do at Figma:

• Perform month-end close activities including balance sheet recons for Figma’s international entities, posting of journals and monthly flux analysis
• Responsible for reporting requirements under U.S. GAAP
• Liaise with external auditors and support the Statutory audit process
• Support the roll out of international expansion projects and implementation of new accounting systems
• Support specific accounting projects related to automation and continuous improvement
• Partner closely with the US team to ensure alignment with company expectations and standards
• Build strong business partnerships with key budget owners and manage global 3rd party service providers including managing process change updates
• Support ad-hoc activities and projects as they arise

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Proven experience in an accounting role with a strong understanding in industry, like minded companies
• Experience with managing and completing month end close
• Experience in statutory reporting processes
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA) minimum 2 years PQE

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

• Experience working in various accounting systems (Net Suite and Coupa is a plus) as well as broader systems experience such as excellent MS office skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
• Experience in US GAAP month end close preparation and procedures
• Self-starter and independent thinker with desire to work in a fast-paced scaling international organization
