Legal Product Manager

The Role:

This product manager will be a key member of the asset management legal team and provide legal support to our attorneys and business partners across a diverse range of private investment vehicles and fund structures. You’ll assist in the fund of fund investment transactional process and support the formation, organization and ongoing administration of private funds.

The Skills and Expertise You Bring:

• BA or BS degree; paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience within a corporate legal department, law firm or financial services environment.
• Experience with alternative investment products and private markets is required, with support of a high-volume transactional practice a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Exceptional judgment, problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and self-directed. You need to be able to work efficiently, under pressure, with varying degrees of supervision, and lead and direct projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Must thrive in a team environment with a demonstrated ability to coordinate across our business functions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with great attention to detail, organization and time management.

The Team:

You will play a vital role in contributing to the legal work necessary to support the Asset Management Group. You will be a critical ingredient to the highly valued legal guidance provided by the lawyers dedicated to the Asset Management Group. The base salary range for this position is $85,000-216,000 USD per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
