About the role

Responsible for providing comprehensive guidance and support on health, safety, and environmental matters, collaborating on policy development, offering technical expertise, ensuring compliance with regulations, leading investigations and risk assessments, and managing HSE policies, procedures, tender submissions, and contracts to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
1. Provide guidance and support on health, safety, and environmental matters.
2. Collaborate in cross-region development and implementation of international HSE policies.
3. Design and lead in the implementation of region-specific HSE policies and procedures.
4. Offer technical expertise in HSE practices and regulations.
5. Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility regulations, including Heavy Vehicle National Law.
6. Develop and oversee systems related to Chain of Responsibility compliance.
7. Lead investigations into health, safety, and environmental incidents.
8. Develop and update HSE policies and procedures.
9. Manage HSE tender submissions and contracts.
10. Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably with a post graduate degree or equivalent

Experience: Six (6) years of work experience or more in occupational health, safety & environment. If Chain of Responsibility responsibilities are applicable, relevant experience in Heavy Vehicle National Law and Chain of Responsibility systems are required.
