Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, and implementation of Service Now solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with product management and business partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform system administration tasks, including scheduling and completion of platform maintenance, user management, and other duties as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Following prescribed SDLC process to align with compliance commitments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Service Now platform and applications as needed
  • Stay current with Service Now best practices and industry trends to ensure the platform is optimized and up to date.
  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance as well as in collaboration with overall team.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Now Developer, with a strong focus on ITSM and ITOM modules.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing custom applications and integrations on the Service Now platform.
  • Strong understanding of Service Now architecture, including data model, security, and scripting.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
  • Experience developing and designing RESTful services and APIs.
  • Experience integrating Service Now with other platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience developing in a CI/CD environment
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with other ITSM tools and platforms.
  • Experience with one or more front-end development frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue, etc.
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure)

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
