Position:Accounting & Administration – UAT Tester

Responsibilities

  • Senior:

  • Facilitate and encourage the necessary conversations between the Business and Technology to determine the what and the how of the product features.

  • Work independently with minimum supervision.

  • The role is deadline oriented and may require working under US time schedule.

  • Mentor, train and inspire staffs to meet the project objectives.

  • Work with Technology and US team in identifying process improvement areas and bring in the culture of automation.

Position Requirements

  • Senior:

  • 6+ years of experience in WAM industry.

  • Should have experience working on US based asset management, fund accounting and fund administration.

  • General understanding of US GAAP, mutual funds, private equity fund regulatory is a plus.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of WAM domain and deep knowledge of capital market OTC derivative products (Equity, Commodities, Currencies, Rates, Cash and Credit).

  • Should have thorough understanding of different sections of a financial statement: balance sheet, income statement, cashflow, schedule of investments.

  • Lead UAT sessions with stakeholders and ensure timely defect resolution.

  • Product Testing: Conduct thorough testing of the product based on defined requirements.

  • Coordinate with Business Analysts during the testing phase to ensure all test cases and scripts are executed effectively.

  • Document findings, including defects and issues, to provide clear insights for the development team.

  • Perform usability and functional testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of broader test cases.

  • Should have experience participating in scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, conduct retrospectives with team members.

  • Should have expertise working on ADO or JIRA to track requirements, stories, defects and resolutions.

  • Fair understanding of accounting tools/framework like Investran, e Front will be an added advantage.

  • Exposure to SQL, Python or R tool-based analytics is nice to have.

  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
