Job description: - (Senior)

IT-DA-Generic with wealth management background Required skills: -

  • 3-7 years of experience as an IT- Data Analyst role

  • Expertise in at least 1 domain –

  • Capital Markets

Financial Markets

  • Asset Classes & Products

  • Trade Life cycle

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business teams, developers, and testers to translate Functional Data requirements into Technical Data requirements

  • Proficient in preparing data model diagrams, data flow diagrams, and comprehensive data management documentation, i.e. source‑to‑target mappings, transformation specs, workflow documentation, business rules, exception handling

Experience in the following areas

  • Explorative data analysis / data validation

  • Handling and processing large datasets

  • Data modelling / integration

  • Data lineage

  • Data mapping tools and techniques

  • Data analytics

  • Data profiling

  • Working knowledge of programming language like Python

  • Experienced in SQL query writing & developing complex queries across multiple tables

  • Understanding of database concepts and information models and stored procedures / functions

Hands-on experience with major industry databases like

  • Oracle

  • MS SQL Server

  • Teradata

  • MySQL

  • Snowflake

  • Working knowledge on Data Visualization & Reporting

  • Expertise in designing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, applying best practices in visual design, storytelling, and layout.

  • Ability to select appropriate visualizations (charts, maps, KPIs, slicers) based on data and business questions.

  • Skilled in creating user‑centric visual narratives that highlight patterns, trends, outliers, and key performance indicators.

  • Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and publishing pipelines.

Nice to Have

  • Cloud integrations (Azure/AWS).

  • Understanding of APIs and messaging frameworks.

  • Familiarity with data governance & quality tools.
