• Assets & Analytics Team are looking for creative minds to work in our team to be at the forefront of delivering data analytics and process automation solutions to assist our clients to identify opportunities in their tax asset profile and realise efficiencies in their tax processes through the deployment of emerging new technologies.

We are looking for a talented Senior Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of EY’s leading clients, using the latest technology to transform, integrate, analyse and visualise data, with a focus on fixed assets.

This position based in Boorloo – Perth.

Your key responsibilities

In this role you will be client facing, using our latest technology solutions to support clients in managing their fixed assets, analysing large volume of data to deliver tax insights and process improvements. Through building strong relationships, you will play a key role in analysing client data and providing input into strategic initiatives and programs.

Skills and attributes for success

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a tax-focused environment.

• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for technology, including working with large data sets and continuously developing new methodologies, applications, and analytical skills.

• Strong problem solving capabilities with a proactive and inquisitive approach to learning new competencies.

• Proven ability to communicate data, insights, and recommendations clearly and succinctly, enabling improved client decision-making.

• A keen interest in leveraging emerging technologies to transform how clients interpret and visualise their business landscape.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

• Commerce degree, ideally with Accounting or Tax major

• Some programming experience (optional)
