Tax Senior – SAP ABAP Developer – DRC & Tax Integrations

Indirect Tax has 9 sub-functions which manage Global accounts. Indirect Tax is spread across 8 GDS Locations. Our footprint extends to over 30+ countries in the world and looking at expanding it to over 50+ countries soon. We help country practices streamline and manage large engagements for several clients. Job Summary:

The ABAP Developer will work on custom developments, enhancements, and extension components for SAP DRC, statutory reporting, and tax processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ABAP objects for DRC-related enhancements.

• Build custom extractors, ALV reports, tax reports, BAPIs, RFCs, and function modules.

• Work on Adobe Forms, Smartforms, and custom PDF outputs for e-Invoicing.

• Support DRC mappings, JSON/XML creation, and transformation logic.

• Collaborate with functional teams to resolve reporting and compliance issues.

• Perform ABAP debugging for DRC process failures.

• Develop enhancements using BAd Is, user exits, and DRC extension points.

Required Skills

• Strong ABAP experience (OO ABAP, Enhancements, BAd Is).

• Adobe forms, Smartforms for invoice/PDF outputs.

• Experience with IDoc processing, RFCs, and ABAP Proxy.

• Good understanding of SAP DRC or e Document frameworks.

Desirable

• Working knowledge of BRF+, BTP ABAP or RAP Model.

• Experience with tax reporting objects, SAF-T, and statutory extractors.

• Monitor the performance and create opportunities for growth and guide the counselees on enhancing the technical and non-technical skills.

• Identify the training needs and organize the trainings

Ideally, you’ll also have

• High level knowledge and experience of a local country Indirect Tax Compliance.

• Knowledge of Global Indirect Tax Compliance and the associated processes.
