EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D&A) – Senior Manager – Snowflake

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges using data and technology across Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The opportunity

We’re looking for candidates with strong technology and data understanding in the big data engineering space, with proven delivery capability.

Your key responsibilities

• Design scalable data architectures leveraging Snowflake capabilities

• Develop and implement optimized data models (star and snowflake schemas)

• Develop and deploy big data pipelines using Snowflake Cloud DW

• Design, develop, and migrate ETL routines from on‑prem to cloud

• Engage with senior leaders to understand business goals

• Optimize model code for performance

Skills and attributes for success

• Hands-on experience in data warehousing and ETL

• Strong Snowflake development and modeling experience

• Experience with roles, schemas, databases, and integrations (DBT, ETL tools)

• Knowledge of performance tuning and resource monitors

• Programming experience with Java, Scala, or Python

• Experience with batch and real-time/stream analytics

• Strong understanding of distributed computing patterns

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Computer science graduate or equivalent

• 12–14+ years of industry experience

• Agile delivery experience

• Strong communication skills

• Deep technical expertise in Snowflake

• Experience deploying Snowflake using best practices

• Ability to work hands-on with customers

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Client management skills

What we look for

• Minimum 5 years as Analytics Architect

• Around 2 years of Snowflake experience

• Strong technical curiosity and learning mindset
