The Opportunity

EY is a professional services firm with one of our business unit (“FSO”) that is dedicated to the financial services marketplace.

At FSO Technology we deliver project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you’ll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you’ll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learn new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

Your key responsibilities will be

The goal is to support our clients to transform their business problems through engineering solutions. You will assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, develop, integrate, test and deploy distributed software applications. You will deliver high quality systems with focus on reliability and excellent customer experience. You will demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

Skills and attributes for success

• Delivering engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing; based on a proven agile methodology.

• Demonstrate hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.

• Effectively work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment.

• Demonstrate understanding of current technology environment and industry trends and provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.

Skills and Requirements We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related field.

• Reside in Chile.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in technology software development.

• Back-end experience using modern technologies like Java8,11,17, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS, or Azure.

• Experience in designing, building and consuming RESTful APIs (WADL, Markdown, YAML or JSON)

• Hands-on experience building applications/platforms with cloud native/microservices architecture. Includes experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS container deployment.

• Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g. Git, CI/CD pipelines)

• Comfortable working in an Agile environment.

• Fluent English.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with the following technologies

• Akka/Scala

• Kafka/RabbitMQ

• Elastic Search

• Hadoop/Spark/Flume

• Mongo/Cassandra/Any NoSQL DB

• Experience working with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing and knowledge of Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development software development techniques (Cucumber, Selenium,JMeter, AngularCLI)(UAT, IST, ATP)
