Junior Service Now Developer

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Junior Service Now Developer – this role is a part of the global structure of EY as a Global Elite partner of Service Now. Involving different roles and stakeholders, we provide our customers with the best consultancy and solutions.

The opportunity

Service Now is a global platform widely used to manage enterprise service processes and digital workflows. As a Junior Service Now Developer, you will support designing, configuring, and implementing platform solutions across various modules. You will work under guidance of senior developers and technical leads while developing your skills and learning platform best practices.

Your key responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and developing functionalities on the Service Now platform.

• Support gathering and understanding business requirements together with senior colleagues.

• Help implement catalog items, workflows, portals, and self‑service components.

• Participate in customizing Service Now elements such as service catalogs, knowledge bases, forms, and UI policies.

• Learn how to work with integrations and platform automation tools (Flow Designer, Integration Hub).

• Follow platform governance rules to ensure consistent and compliant configurations.

• Prepare basic technical documentation, perform simple unit tests, and support deployment activities.

• Cooperate closely with architects and more experienced developers to deliver scalable solutions.

• Participation in Service Now Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.

• Cooperating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new Service Nowsolutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.

Skills and attributes for success

• Basic understanding of the Service Now platform or similar workflow-based/ITSM tools.

• Solid JavaScript fundamentals (mandatory).

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or willingness to learn front‑end concepts.

• Interest in automation, workflows, and digital processes.

• Strong communication and analytical skills.

• Motivation to grow within the Service Now ecosystem and learn new modules.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Basic knowledge of Service Now concepts.

• Practical knowledge of JavaScript (must‑have).

• Interest in building solutions on enterprise platforms.

• Willingness to develop in Service Now and pursue certifications (CSA/CIS in the future).

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Up to 1 year of experience with Service Now, ITSM tools, or similar platforms (internships welcome).

• English at B2 level or higher.

• Bachelor’s or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

• Any previous exposure to Agile or Scrum delivery.
