Middleware Engineer (GDS) Key Responsibilities: Middleware API Development: Collaborate with the Middleware Engineering Lead and team members to design and build custom middleware APIs using Go, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical specifications. Assist in the development of the middleware integration layer, including API gateways, messaging systems, and data transformations, specifically tailored for Kubernetes environments. Support Middleware Platform Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the middleware platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Participate in the configuration of pipelines and Kubernetes configurations for Go deployments on Kubernetes. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and provide support in implementing middleware solutions. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for coding and development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in middleware engineering, integration development, or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of API management, including understanding of API endpoints and API gateways. Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration is essential. Experience with AWS cloud services and environments is beneficial. Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or similar languages. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
