Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Solution Design

• Define and own the AMS architecture for digital engineering and custom-built applications (web, mobile, APIs, cloud-native).

• Design support models covering L1–L3, automation, monitoring, DevOps pipelines, and AIOps.

• Evaluate tools and platforms (e.g., Service Now, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Datadog) for integration and efficiency.

• Create reusable frameworks and accelerators for AMS transformation.

Transition & Steady State Management

• Implement proactive monitoring, self-healing scripts, and configuration drift controls.

Continuous Improvement & Automation

• Introduce CI/CD, observability, and shift-left practices to enhance reliability.

• Drive reduction in incidents and manual efforts using AIOps, bots, or RPA.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Partner with client architects, delivery leads, and business stakeholders for prioritization and roadmap alignment.

• Conduct regular service reviews, RCA discussions, and audit compliance checks.

• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and Dev Sec Ops principles.

Team Enablement

• Guide technical leads, AMS engineers, and DevOps resources.

• Conduct architecture and process training sessions.

• Foster a culture of automation, ownership, and proactive support.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong background in Digital Engineering (modern app stacks: .NET Core, Java, Node.js, React/Angular, Python, AI etc.).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).

• Solid understanding of AMS processes – Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Configuration Management.

• Familiarity with DevOps / SRE concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience integrating with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., App Dynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana).

• Good understanding of Service Now ITSM modules.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
