Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team in the banking and insurance sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and modeling, with hands-on experience in SAS, R, Python, and Generative AI (GenAI). This role will focus on leveraging data to drive insights and support decision-making processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support business decisions in banking and insurance operations.

• Model Development: Develop and implement predictive models using SAS, R, and Python to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.

• Generative AI Applications: Explore and apply Generative AI techniques to enhance data-driven solutions and create innovative products and services.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

• Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Cloud Integration: Utilize Azure services for data storage, processing, and model deployment to ensure scalability and efficiency.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the banking and insurance sectors.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAS, R, and Python for data analysis and modeling.

• Generative AI Knowledge: Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and applications.

• Cloud Proficiency: Experience with Azure services for data analytics and model deployment.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports.

• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.

• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards in the banking and insurance sectors.
