The Opportunity

Our Security Vetting team is embarking on our next exciting phase of growth, and with this expansion come new opportunities for you to join us. We are inviting expressions of interest from First Nations people for various roles, ranging from entry-level analysts to team leaders.

In our Security Vetting Team at EY, you will receive mentorship and support to help you navigate your career path and personalise your journey.

Your contributions and the meaningful work you will do will make a significant impact on the security industry in Australia.

This role can be is based in Naarm – Melbourne, Boorloo – Perth, Ngambri – Canberra, Meanjin – Brisbane or Warrang – Sydney.

Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

In your role, regardless of your level within the team, your work will directly contribute to strengthening the nation's security. Depending on your position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing components of clearance cases with meticulous attention to detail and managing complex processes, while reporting to an experienced team leader.

  • Managing caseloads efficiently.

  • Leading a team and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Managing complex processes either as part of a team or by leading one.

  • Ensuring quality outcomes by enforcing stringent quality controls.

  • Attention to Detail: The meticulous scrutiny of extensive data and identification of potential risks.

  • Quality Assurance: Firm commitment to uphold high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation.

  • Time Management: Ensure milestones and SLAs are met with close attention to competing demands on time.

  • Australian Citizens who possess a Security Clearance of Baseline, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 1 or 2 as required (preferred)
