Location: Wrocław / Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Insurance domain and hands-on knowledge of the Guidewire framework.

Your key responsibilities

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather functional requirements, analyze business needs, and guide customers toward optimal solutions. A key responsibility will be to maximize the use of Guidewire’s out-of-the-box functionalities while minimizing customizations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective implementations.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire applications (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center).

  • Excellent understanding of insurance processes and workflows.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and guide decisions toward optimal solutions.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain.

  • Proven ability to gather and document functional requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Designing new functionalities and solutions.

  • Optimizing existing processes and system components.

  • Creating prototypes and proof-of-concept for new/improved modules.

  • Researching technological possibilities and analyzing trends.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Guidewire Certification (Business Analyst or similar).

  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.

  • Knowledge of integration patterns and third-party systems in insurance.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Insurance domain, specifically with strong expertise in the Guidewire framework. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of insurance processes and workflows, along with the ability to effectively gather and document functional requirements. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with familiarity with Agile methodologies, are essential for guiding stakeholders toward optimal solutions while maximizing the use of Guidewire's out-of-the-box functionalities. Additionally, a Guidewire Certification and experience with cloud implementations will be considered valuable assets.
