Core Business Services – Finance – Senior Accounting Officer

Responsibilities:

• Experience in full set of books and analysis.

  • Prepare monthly journals.

  • Review and validate journal entries prepared by other teams for accuracy and compliance with accounting standard.

  • Ensure timely posting of journals and assist in maintain the integrity of financial record.

  • Participate in finance operations and month end / year end close processes.

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations review to ensure accounts are accurately reflected.

  • Identify discrepancies in balance sheet reconciliations and work with relevant teams to resolve issues.

  • Investigate anomalies and monthly variance against budget and provide analysis of differences

  • Assist in preparation and analysis of monthly financial and management accounting, annual budgeting and quarterly forecast

  • Provide regular support and insightful performance analysis to facilitate better understanding of business performance

  • Pro-active communication with internal customers

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions as needed

  • Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments

To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with an internationally recognized professional qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years solid and relevant experience from a sizeable company

  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

  • Highly motivated team player with positive attitude

  • Analytical and proactive in problem solving.

  • Proficiency in MS WORD, EXCEL, Chinese word processing

  • Good command in both written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin)

  • Supervising a team experience is an advantage

  • Hands-on experience in Oracle information system is a definite advantage.
