The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Mule Soft Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining Mule Soft applications and integrations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our integration solutions, providing technical support, and collaborating with development teams to enhance our API management capabilities.
Job Summary
As Tech Ops Staff, you’ll contribute technically to Techops client engagements and internal projects.
You will be responsible for executing tasks with increasing autonomy, applying sound judgment within defined parameters, and contributing to team outcomes. You are expected to demonstrate initiative, resolve routine issues independently, and support junior colleagues.
You will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.
In line with EY commitment to quality, you’ll confirm that work is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.
Your key responsibilities

Provide expert technical support for Mule Soft applications, APIs, and integrations, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Mule Soft integrations, including analyzing logs and debugging applications.

Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for API design, development, and deployment.

Monitor Mule Soft environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Assist in the deployment and configuration of Mule Soft applications across various environments (development, testing, production).

Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide effective integration solutions.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.

Stay updated with the latest Mule Soft features, tools, and industry best practices to enhance support capabilities.

Participate in on-call support rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience 2-5 Years of experience required in Mule Soft with Mule Soft Certified Developer or Architect certification.
To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2 to 5 years of experience in Mule Soft development and support.
-
Strong knowledge of Mule Soft Anypoint Platform, including Mule ESB, API Manager, and Cloud Hub.
-
Proficiency in integration patterns, API design, and RESTful services.
-
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging Mule Soft applications.
-
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
-
Knowledge of cloud technologies and services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ideally, you’ll also have

Mule Soft Certified Developer or Architect certification.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic) for performance analysis.

Understanding of security best practices for API management.
