The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EHS & EHSM Senior Consultant with 6 to 8 years of hands‑on experience in delivering both Classic EHS and EHSM (Workplace Safety / Risk Management) solutions. In this role, you will work with global clients to design and implement integrated EHS frameworks within SAP S/4HANA, covering Product Safety, Environmental Compliance, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Incident and Risk Management, and Management of Change (MoC). You will lead functional workstreams, engage with business stakeholders, guide junior team members, and ensure the end‑to‑end delivery of high‑quality EHS technology solutions. Your Key Responsibilities As a Senior Consultant, you will take ownership of key deliverables within workstreams and support client engagements across the project lifecycle. Functional Leadership & Delivery Lead end to end implementation and enhancement projects covering both Classic EHS and EHSM functionalities. Conduct requirement gathering workshops on EHS and Safety processes, regulatory needs, risk processes, and compliance requirements. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and solution architectures. Drive configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and UAT cycles for all EHS modules. Ensure alignment of delivered solutions with S/4HANA best practices. SAP EHS (Classic) Responsibilities Configure and support: Product Safety & Compliance / SDS & Label Management Hazardous Substance Management Dangerous Goods Industrial Hygiene & Safety Occupational Health Environmental Management (Waste, Emissions, Air, Water) Manage EHS master data: specifications, phrases, value assignment types, WWI templates, report symbols. Support regulatory reporting (GHS, REACH, OSHA, DG transport, emissions reporting). Provide support for WWI generation, phrase corrections, and template maintenance. Integrate Classic EHS with MM, PP, QM, PM, and SD processes. SAP EHSM (EHS Management / Workplace Safety) Responsibilities Implement and support EHSM components: Incident/Accident Management Safety Observations & Behavioral Safety Investigation Management Operational Risk Assessment Job Hazard & Task Risk Assessments Management of Change (MoC) Corrective & Preventive Actions Configure workflows, approvals, Fiori apps, notifications, and dashboards. Enable mobile/field based reporting for incidents and inspections. Ensure integration across safety instructions, hazards, controls, and SOPs. Support proactive safety processes and performance monitoring dashboards. Integration & S/4HANA Modern Capabilities Understand S/4HANA enhancements in: AI assisted safety instruction generation Improved investigation workflows Enhanced environmental compliance dashboards Integrated Risk → Control → Mitigation mapping Mobile/offline incident entry Work with cross-functional teams on integration with Product Compliance, HR/Learning systems, and Asset Management. Ensure system readiness for cloud or hybrid deployments. Documentation & Governance Create high-quality documentation including: Process Definition Documents (PDD) Functional Specifications Configuration Guides Test Scripts & BPPs Support cutover, deployment planning, hypercare, and post-go live stabilization. Stakeholder & Team Management Act as a key point of contact for client EHS leads, safety SMEs, compliance teams, and IT owners. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants. Drive client communication, risk management, and issue resolution. Support pre sales activities such as solution demos, effort estimates, and RFP responses. Skills and attributes for success Strong hands-on experience across both Classic EHS & EHSM. Deep understanding of EHS regulatory frameworks (OSHA, GHS, REACH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001). Ability to design integrated EHS processes aligned with global compliance standards. Excellent analytical skills and problem‑solving capabilities. Strong communication and workshop‑facilitation ability. Ability to work in hybrid onshore/offshore delivery models. Understanding of new modular EHS suite capabilities and AI-assisted safety innovations. Ideally, you’ll also have Recent Submodules & Capabilities (Required Awareness) Experience working with S/4HANA On-Prem / Private Cloud EHS innovations. Familiarity with AI‑enabled safety tools and automated compliance features. Exposure to Analytics/Reporting tools for EHS KPIs and dashboards. Domain background in manufacturing, chemicals, energy, utilities, oil & gas, or pharma. What we look for Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) Preferably Engineering 6–8 years of strong SAP EHS + EHSM experience with at least: 2+ full lifecycle implementations, and Experience in support/rollouts/enhancements.
