The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for Qatari nationals to join EY Qatar’s growing Tax practice within International Tax & Transaction Services (ITTS), Indirect Tax (IDT), or Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR). You will play a key role in supporting complex tax matters, advising leading businesses in Qatar, and contributing to major national initiatives. As part of our experienced-hire team, you will gain exposure to high-impact projects and develop deep tax technical expertise.
Your key responsibilities

Provide high-quality tax advisory, compliance, and reporting support to clients across ITTS, IDT, or GCR service lines.

Manage day-to-day client engagements, prepare technical deliverables, and assist senior team members with tax analysis and communication.

Contribute to project planning, research emerging tax issues, and ensure accurate, timely execution of tax assignments.

Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex tax and financial information.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric and collaborative approach.
To qualify for the role
-
Qatari national with 2+ years of relevant tax experience in ITTS, Indirect Tax, Corporate Tax, or Tax Compliance.
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Economics, or related field.
-
Strong understanding of GCC tax frameworks (corporate tax and/or VAT).
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment.

Proficiency in English and Arabic.
Ideally, you’ll also have

Progress toward a professional qualification (ADIT, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or similar).

Experience working with multinational clients or on cross-border projects.

Good knowledge of ERP systems for tax compliance and reporting.
