Oracle HCM – Oracle Core HR – Senior Role Title: Senior Consultant – Oracle HCM (Core HR)

Experience Level: 5–8 years

Location: PAN India

Role Summary

The Senior Consultant – Oracle HCM Core HR will be responsible for leading configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR modules. The role requires deep functional expertise across Oracle HCM Cloud, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities Core HR Configuration & Solution Design

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Core HR including workforce structures, legal entities, business units, positions, jobs, grades, and enterprise setup.

  • Configure and maintain enterprise and workforce structures aligned to client HR operating model.

  • Develop solutions for Core HR processes such as hire-to-retire, promotions, transfers, and global assignments.

  • Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into system configurations.

Implementation & Project Delivery

  • Support project lifecycle from design and build through testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

  • Document configuration workbooks, BRDs, test scripts, and solution design documents.

  • Lead UAT cycles and support clients through testing and validation.

  • Partner with cross-module teams (Payroll, Absence, Time & Labor, Talent) to deliver integrated HR solutions.

Integrations & Data Management

  • Work with integration teams on data flows involving Core HR (HCM Extracts, OIC integrations, REST APIs).

  • Support HDL data loads, mass updates, and maintenance of HR data.

  • Ensure data quality and consistency across HR modules and downstream systems.

  • Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Core HR issues and enhancements.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot Core HR transactions, approvals, and workflow issues.

  • Optimize existing configurations to improve usability, data accuracy, and process effectiveness.

  • Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to client HR and IT stakeholders.

  • Mentor junior team members on Core HR concepts and Oracle Cloud best practices.

  • Collaborate across global teams to deliver standard and scalable solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR.

  • Deep understanding of:

  • Enterprise & Workforce Structures

  • Approval workflows (BPM)

  • Employment life cycle transactions

  • Position management

  • Person & employment models

  • HCM security concepts

  • Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Experience working with HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, and BIP reports.

  • Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot configuration, and provide scalable HR solutions.

  • Understanding of downstream impacts to Payroll, Absence, Time & Labor, and Talent modules.

Professional Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle HCM Cloud certification – Core HR.

  • Experience with large-scale global HR transformations.
