Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

• Be part of SAP S/4HANA ePPDS / PP DS implementations and support engagements

• Work hands on on detailed scheduling, capacity planning, and tank based production scenarios

• Support clients in improving schedule adherence, throughput, and resource utilization

• Gain strong exposure to embedded PP/DS, process industry planning, and shop floor integration

• Grow as a functional specialist / individual contributor in advanced planning solutions

Your Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP PP/DS and Embedded PP/DS (ePPDS) solutions

• Maintain and validate master data: Products, Locations, Resources, Tanks, and PDS

• Configure tank resources, capacities, min/max fill levels, cleaning and changeover times

• Execute and analyse PP/DS heuristics and optimizer runs for finite scheduling

• Perform detailed scheduling and sequencing using the PP/DS Planning Board

• Support process order integration with S/4HANA production execution

• Analyse and resolve planning alerts, capacity overloads, and sequencing conflicts

• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and data validation activities

• Handle production support issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and propose fixes

• Prepare functional documentation and support planner enablement sessions

Skills and attributes for success

• Hands-on experience in SAP PP/DS or Embedded PP/DS (ePPDS)

• Strong understanding of finite planning, pegging, sequencing, and capacity modelling

• Practical experience with tank planning in process manufacturing

• Knowledge of setup times, cleaning cycles, batch constraints, and tank utilization

• Experience working with heuristics, optimizer profiles, and planning boards

• Ability to analyse planning results and explain them to business users

• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving mindset

• Good communication skills and ability to work in global delivery teams

Ideally, you’ll also

• Experience working on ePPDS or APO PP/DS migration/conversion projects

• Understanding of production execution impacts (confirmations, partial postings, delays)

• Familiarity with alerts and exception-based planning

• Basic exposure to ABAP debugging or PP/DS BAd Is (nice to have)

• Prior experience in client-facing
