Senior Manager / Director in Technology Consulting - Data & AI Leader for Uzbekistan

The opportunity

EY Consulting is expanding its Data & AI capability across the CCA (Central Asia & Caucasus) cluster, with a strategic focus on Uzbekistan as a key growth market.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager/Director to** establish and lead the Data & AI capability**, with primary responsibility for developing the practice in Uzbekistan.

This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for shaping the** Data & AI offering, driving go-to-market strategy, and delivering large-scale transformation programs** across industries.

We welcome candidates based in Uzbekistan, as well as international candidates willing to relocate to Tashkent, with full support provided.

Your key responsibilities Capability leadership & growth

• Lead the build and development of the Data & AI capability in Uzbekistan

• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy, focused on Uzbekistan and broader CCA opportunities

• Build and scale a high-performing local team, including hiring, coaching, and capability development

• Collaborate with regional and global EY teams to bring leading practices and solutions to the CCA market Client engagement & delivery

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Data & AI programs in Uzbekistan and across CCA

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders

• Translate business needs into data-driven strategies, architectures, and implementation roadmaps

• Ensure high-quality delivery, risk management, and client satisfaction

Business development

• Drive business development in Uzbekistan, including building pipeline and client relationships

• Identify and pursue new opportunities across key sectors in the local market

• Support regional growth initiatives across the CCA cluster

Solution & architecture leadership

• Define modern, scalable data platform architectures (cloud-first)

• Oversee delivery of:

• Data platforms (data lakes, DWH, lakehouse)

• AI / machine learning solutions

• Data governance and data management frameworks

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong ability to operate in a market-building / capability-building environment

• Proven leadership in Data & AI / Analytics consulting

• Strong understanding of data platforms, AI ecosystems, and cloud technologies

• Excellent stakeholder management, including C-level engagement

• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to drive growth in emerging markets

• Strong communication and storytelling skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, etc.)

• 5–10+ years of experience in Data & AI / Technology Consulting

• Proven experience in:

• Leading data/AI transformation programs

• Defining data strategies and roadmaps

• Managing senior client relationships

• Experience leading teams and complex engagements

• Strong technical understanding of modern data ecosystems

• Fluent English, Russian

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience working in Central Asia, emerging markets, or multi-country environments

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data & AI stack

• Relevant certifications (Azure, AWS, etc.)

• Experience in Agile delivery environments
