The opportunity
As a Senior Consultant in our Private Tax team, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of exciting established large private businesses/corporates, high net wealth individuals and families and entrepreneurial start-up businesses. In this role you will have significant opportunities for learning, career advancement, and exposure to both private and corporate clients, including cross-border and international tax work.

This is a hybrid position based in Meanjin – Brisbane. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities

Help drive our team’s success as we manage a vibrant portfolio of growth clients - including privately owned corporate groups operating both in Australia and overseas, local businesses, high-net-worth families, trusts, and a variety of other private entities.

Play a key role supporting the team in handling tax compliance, preparing financial statements, planning, and offering advisory services to a broad spectrum of clients, covering companies (including tax consolidated groups), trusts, partnerships, and individuals.

Be part of the action as we collaborate to deliver expert consulting advice to privately owned corporate groups, high-net-worth individuals, family businesses, and their owners on complex tax issues. This includes corporate restructures, domestic and international transactions, capital gains tax, Division 7A matters, and specialised trust concerns.
Skills and attributes for success

Solid background in Tax Consulting, especially within top tier or second tier- accounting or legal firms.

Proven track record supporting junior staff and helping them flourish in their roles.

Extensive expertise in tax matters for corporate groups, trusts and individuals.
Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

Hands-on experience managing a diverse client portfolio, ensuring every relationship is nurtured and every client feels valued.

Solid tax expertise, ideally gained from working in an Australian professional services environment.

Top-notch client-facing skills, with the confidence to take charge of meetings and effortlessly build a strong professional network.
