Indirect Tax Senior – SAP DRC Technical Consultant

Indirect Tax has 9 sub-functions which manage Global accounts. Indirect Tax is spread across 8 GDS Locations. Our footprint extends to over 30+ countries in the world and looking at expanding it to over 50+ countries soon. We help country practices streamline and manage large engagements for several clients. Job Summary:

Responsible for technical development, integration, and interface management for DRC implementations, including AIF interfaces, APIs, XML/JSON mappings, and error-handling frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance DRC integration components.

• Build APIs, IDoc transformations, JSON/XML schemas, and payload mappings.

• Work with SAP BTP/CPI for sending and receiving government data.

• Implement custom validations, mapping logic, and error-handling for e-Invoicing.

• Support DRC Monitoring Cockpit and troubleshoot failed documents.

• Work closely with functional consultants for requirement translation into technical solutions.

• Optimize performance and manage system logging and processing queues.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP CPI/BTP integrations.

• Knowledge of AIF, IDocs, Proxy/Webservices, OData APIs.

• Understanding of statutory formats like JSON, XML, UBL, PEPPOL.

• Experience in SAP e Document framework.

Desirable:

• Basic ABAP debugging.

• Exposure to Integration Suite (CPI), BTP, AIF.

• Monitor the performance and create opportunities for growth and guide the counselees on enhancing the technical and non-technical skills.

• Identify the training needs and organize the trainings

Ideally, you’ll also have

• High level knowledge and experience of a local country Indirect Tax Compliance.

• Knowledge of Global Indirect Tax Compliance and the associated processes.
