Our Financial Services organisation is the only one among the Big 4 firms with a functional and cross-border specialisation in the financial services sector. As a market leader, we advise clients across a wide range of areas on all tax-related matters. By doing so, we help optimise the corporate and legal structures of our globally active clients. Your key responsibilities Support the development of a new operating model for an innovative Financial Services tax solution within a dedicated transformation team Act as an interface between tax professionals and technology specialists, translating tax requirements into digital and automated solutions Work within a tax department environment and actively contribute to digital and operational transformation initiatives Assist in designing, testing and improving data-driven and automated processes to enhance tax reporting and compliance Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support the continuous improvement of digital tax service delivery models. What we look for Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor degree in a STEM field, Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik), Business Mathematics (Wirtschaftsmathematik) or a related discipline Strong interest in digital transformation, automation and data-driven solutions Basic to advanced knowledge of programming and analytics tools such as RPA, SQL, RStudio and coding languages (e.g. Python) Ability to work independently while being an active and reliable team player with a connected-thinking mindset Basic understanding of financial products and financial services Analytical thinking, structured working style and strong problem-solving skills Good English skills; German is an advantage What’s in it for you Here at EY, you’ll have the chance to build a truly exceptional experience.
