Senior Consultant - Business Transformation

The opportunity

As a Business Transformation consultant at EY, you will help organisations deliver successful outcomes through some of the Australia's largest and most complex transformation projects, be it unlocking operational efficiencies, or driving growth through transformation; the opportunity to shape your career is yours.

We are looking for people with the passion, curiosity and drive to make things better. Someone who is highly motivated self- starters and strong team players who like to push themselves, who can think strategically but enjoy 'rolling up their sleeves' and working closely with clients to get the job done.

Your key responsibilities

Assist clients with successful delivery of their business transformation projects across areas such as:

  • Strategic cost reduction and operational efficiency

  • Process optimisation and ways of working

  • Operating model design and implementation

  • Growth strategy

  • Digital transformation

  • Deliver complex transformation programs spanning the entire lifecycle - from strategy through design and into implementation

  • Contribute to business development and account management activities such as pursuits, proposals and managing key relationships

Skills and attributes for success

To be considered for this role you must have hands-on experience in delivering projects / programs involving business and/or technology transformation, preferably within the financial services environment.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • A structured approach to critical problem solving

  • Hands-on experience in delivering projects / programs involving business and/or technology transformation, preferably within the financial services environment

  • Management consulting experience gained through a Big 4 or boutique consulting firm is highly desirable

  • Strong capabilities in understanding business operations, sales, service and marketing transformation, and the ability to leverage insights for strategic decision-making

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical/business concepts clearly and confidently to both internal and external stakeholders
