Position: Senior Service Now Developer
Experience: 4 to 7 years

Key Functions:
-
Module with ITSM, Custom application, integration, Service Portal, CSM are the recommended.

Work as part of an agile team developing, designing, and implementing new application modules, workflows, and catalog requests
-
Build custom applications in Service Now by defining data tables, user interface and adding business logic
-
Strong understanding of Service Now Development Platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, Contract management, Resource management, ITFM CMDB, Asset Management, Change Management, Custom Development, etc.
-
Integration with 3rd party application, working experience in scripted REST API, SOAP etc.

Must have worked on Service Now version upgrade.

Experience in developing the Application functionalities using HTML, CSS and Angular JS.

Experience in designing and development of UI using Service Now.

Experience in Service Now Widgets, Client-side scripting, Server-side scripting and ITSM modules
-
Customize Service Now applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and configure workflow
-
Collaborate effectively with other Service Now administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
-
Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions. Troubleshoot production problems related to Service Now custom applications.

Address problems of system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
-
Ensure the latest release of Service Now application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations
-
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
-
Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
-
Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing, sandbox, and production environments
-
Participate in ongoing production support and end user support
-
Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately
-
Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
-
Very Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Suggested technical certification
-
Service Now admin certification
-
Micro Certifications in Service Now concepts are advantageous
-
Implementation specialist or Application Developer Certifications are advantageous
-
Hands on day-to-day management of multiple Service Now instances, including managing major releases and patches, managing the SDLC release processes and implementing code into the platform to solve ever-changing needs.

Minimum 3-5 years of coding, testing and implementing Service Now as a technical resource.

Proficient using SOAP UI or other tools to test SOAP/REST Web Service APIs

Strong working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise application
-
Experience developing workflows, Business Rules, ACLS, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Date Policies, UI Actions, and table extension in Service Now.
