Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Total of 5 – 12 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, backup technologies, cyber recovery, resiliency, and disaster recovery architecture Lead end-to-end installation, deployment, and configuration of: Dell EMC Avamar Dell EMC Networker Dell EMC Power Protect Data Manager (PPDM) Design scalable, secure, and high-availability backup architectures aligned with business SLAs, RPO, and RTO. Integrate backup solutions with Data Domain, Cloud Storage, and Object Storage platforms. Perform daily backup administration, including: Policy creation and optimization Backup scheduling and monitoring Capacity planning and performance tuning Manage backups for virtual, physical, database, NAS, and cloud workloads. Ensure compliance, retention policies, encryption, and immutability are properly implemented. Lead complex troubleshooting of backup failures, restore issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity problems. Own end-to-end backup migration planning and execution, including: Avamar to PPDM Networker to PPDM Legacy backup platforms to modern architectures Lead re-platforming initiatives aligned with cloud adoption, data center modernization, and security enhancements. Implement cyber-resilient backup strategies, including: Airgap and immutable backups Ransomware recovery readiness Ensure alignment with audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Must have strong consulting skills, executive presence to engage with customer, conduct customer workshops, drive requirements, drive methodology, strong documentation skills. Advanced knowledge, understanding and application of project management principles and methodologies. Experience in Professional Services/Consulting Delivery
