We implement information-driven strategies and systems that help grow, optimize, and protect client organizations. We go beyond strategy and deliver end-to-end implementation of real-life data environments, powered by some of the best technology architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big data engineers, developers, and consultants in the region.
We are looking for Data Scientists at the Manager or Senior Manager level to join the AI & Data team in our Malaysia office. This is a full-time position.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of data scientists and AI specialists across both technical and business workstreams
Define project objectives, establish timelines, and manage end-to-end delivery of AI and data science solutions
Engage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and provide regular updates
Work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to identify data and AI opportunities that drive measurable business impact
Serve as a thought leader in data science and AI, guiding team members and contributing to capability development
Translate complex model behavior and technical insights into clear business recommendations and presentations
Apply cutting-edge machine learning, deep learning, and NLP techniques to real-world business challenges
Contribute to strategy, solution architecture, and delivery in a client-facing consulting environment
Skills and Attributes for Success
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI role
Proven experience in leading AI teams and delivering impactful AI or analytics projects
Strong AI expertise; PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferable
Proficient in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, Num Py)
Experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
Proficient in developing and maintaining data pipelines to ensure quality and accessibility
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and NLP
Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and cloud-based data architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Consulting experience, including direct client engagement and project leadership
Experience with NLP libraries, frameworks, and Large Language Models (LLMs)
Exposure to end-to-end project delivery in Agile, SDLC, or hybrid methodologies
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Knowledge or background in data engineering is a plus
