What role you will play in our team

The Design Supervisor oversees the creative design team to ensure high-quality visual content that aligns with brand standards and business objectives. This role involves managing design projects from concept to completion, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and impactful designs.

What you will do

Team Leadership & Development:

Supervise, mentor, and coach design team members.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.

Project Oversight
Manage design projects from concept through completion.
Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain quality and consistency across all deliverables.

Creative Direction
Establish and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Review and approve design work for accuracy and brand alignment.
Drive innovation and creativity within the team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with marketing, product, and other departments to align design strategies with business objectives.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions.

Resource & Workflow Management:

Prioritize projects and allocate resources efficiently.
Implement tools and processes to optimize design workflow.

Quality Assurance
Ensure all designs meet technical specifications and brand identity requirements.
Conduct final checks before delivery to maintain high standards.

Trend & Technology Awareness:

Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies.
Recommend new approaches and tools to enhance team capabilities.

About You

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.

  • 5+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and digital design best practices.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with web/digital design workflows and collaboration with UX/UI teams.

  • Motion/animation skills (After Effects, Premiere) and/or basic video editing.

  • Accessibility and inclusive design best practices (WCAG considerations).

  • Experience with DAM/brand portals, proofing tools, or Agile project methods.

  • Vendor management (printers, agencies, freelancers).
