Exxon Mobil in Malaysia

In Malaysia, we host a global business and technology center in Kuala Lumpur that provides high-level information technology and engineering expertise to Exxon Mobil’s Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses worldwide. In the upstream, we have interests in two Production Sharing Contracts with PETRONAS, while in the Product Solutions business, we supply a portfolio of specialty chemical products to the marketplace.

What role you will play in our team

• You will be an integral part of our global IT team providing high quality technical insights and services to Exxon Mobil business globally working with modern technologies and applications.

• This calls for proactive thinking, idea generation, robust interpersonal skills, staying abreast of technological advancements, collaborating with global teams and occasional travel to engage with internal teams.

• Depending on business needs, placements are made in Cyber Security, Cloud Technology, Software Development and Productivity solutions.

• Role is open to Malaysians only

• Position is based in Kuala Lumpur

About you

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with an excellent academic track record

• Understands basic principles of Network Security, Cyber Security, Server Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture

• Be able to demonstrate intellectual rigor, drive, and proactiveness in leading change

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural global setting coupled with strong written & verbal communication skills
