Exxon Mobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.

Exxon Mobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

Exxon Mobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other Exxon Mobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

What role you will play in our team

Immersive Technology Solution Engineer increases competitive advantage by working with key business contacts to leverage 3D technologies (i.e., virtual, augmented, mixed reality) to improve safety, drive business value, enable optimal business work processes, and reduce costs. In addition, they also build deep understanding of the key business processes that leverage 3D immersive technologies in order to ensure strategic alignment across multiple business groups.Must have a passion for new technologies, as well as drive to use cutting-edge XR technologies to directly benefit Exxon Mobil business lines.

• Strong passion and interest for immersive technologies (Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality/Assisted Reality)
• Ability to perform under frequently changing priorities
• Excellent Communication (Verbal & Written) Skills
• Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical deliverables

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor of design (Interactive or animation design or Bachelor in any computer Science degree
• Experience with key aspects of 3D technologies within VR and associated hardware
• Experience working with 3rd parties while maintaining a good working relationship
• CAD Modeling experience (AutoCAD)
• Experience with game development engines (Unity3D, Unreal)
• Experience in storytelling
• Experience with enterprise application implementations
• Experience with navigating Exxon Mobil procurement processes
• Strong understanding of Exxon Mobil security & control processes
• Immersive Reality design and implementaiton experience
• Business Communication
• Broader Infrastructure and Design experience

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Experience with key aspects of 3D technologies within VR and associated hardware• Experience working with 3rd parties while maintaining a good working relationship
