Exxon Mobil in Malaysia

In Malaysia, we host a global business and technology center in Kuala Lumpur that provides high-level information technology and engineering expertise to Exxon Mobil’s Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses worldwide. In the upstream, we have interests in two Production Sharing Contracts with PETRONAS, while in the Product Solutions business, we supply a portfolio of specialty chemical products to the marketplace.

What role you will play in our team

PVE Account manager role will primarily be to manage the business and relationship with PVE customers and distributors in ASEAN as well as to drive the growth of PVE Business in ASEAN. Role will be based in Malaysia KLTC.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain relationship with customers and distributors

• Identify potential clients, analyze business opportunities while generate pipelines through leads conversion

• Gather market information and trends while provide useful analysis to management relevant to the business

• Support developmental efforts in ASEAN countries to achieve business growth

• Ensure compliance to business control processes related to the conduct of the business

About you

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum holding a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Polymers or Chemical from well-recognized overseas/local university with GPA score of >3.2 out of 4.0

• Fluent English written and spoken proficiency – IELTS > 6 or equivalent

• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in plastic / polymer related field is preferred

• Good proficiency in Chinese (written and spoken) and a good command of Thai language will be a plus

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:

• Strong analytical and planning skill to ensure clear strategic focus and priorities to business objectives

• Strong polymer application knowledge, good technical background

• Excellent interpersonal skill and public relations, event organizer experience to manage business networks within market

• Good presentation skill and able to articulate him/herself well

• Good understanding of local business administrations to support transactions within Malaysia

• Extensive business travel in Malaysia and/or other Southeast Asian countries
