Exxon Mobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.

Exxon Mobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

Exxon Mobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other Exxon Mobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

What role you will play in team

The MA&TO Analyst will support the organization by providing comprehensive support for various cloud-based applications and contribute to the designing, building, and maintenance of cloud-based tools for Financial Services Functions. This role is essential for ensuring the effective implementation and continuous enhancement of our accounting technologies and processes.

This role offers opportunities for professional growth in a rapidly growing organization, and further career development for candidates interested in accounting and technology.

What you will do

• Support the implementation and management of advanced accounting technologies

• Provide expert advice and troubleshooting for cloud-based accounting applications

• Collaborate with the MA&TO team and others to ensure cohesive financial operations

• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within global processes

• Stay updated on emerging accounting technologies and trends, and assist in recommending innovative solutions

• Monitor and report on the performance of accounting technologies and processes, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

• Identify and help mitigate risks associated with the implementation and use of accounting technologies

About you

Education : Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certification is a plus.

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and technology integration, preferably within the oil and gas industry, or large multi-national company

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Power BI, and other analytics tools

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Black Line and technology solutions like SAP Group Reporting or Workiva

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in English
