Associate Account Manager – Mexico City
Travel Partnerships and Advertising helps partners, including hotels, vacation rentals, airlines, destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and more, deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences. We drive growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply and our leading advertising and travel media network.
Introduction to the team:
The Associate Account Manager’s primary responsibility in his/her assigned territory is to onboard, develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of hotel products (i.e. relevant, attractive and competitive) for Expedia’s fast-growing global customer base.
In doing so, Associate Account Managers will continuously work with Expedia LPS’ hotel partners to help them maximize the production potential from their participation in the Expedia marketplace by smartly utilizing the power of Expedia LPS’ unique data insights, marketing, distribution, and revenue management toolset.

This role focuses on the core of the Market Management’s team responsibility, which is to ensure that Expedia’s brands’ global customers always find the most suitable hotel for their dream trip wherever they want to go, and that our hotel partners can effectively, efficiently and throughout the year, reach Expedia’s full breadth of global traveler demand.
In this role, you will:
Consistently leveraging data specific to their market available in Expedient, Expedia’s proprietary market insights and activity prioritization dashboard, and leveraging their local market knowledge, Associate Account Managers will:

Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners by acting as a trusted advisor, providing data‑driven insights, revenue management advice, and marketing opportunities to optimize performance in the Expedia marketplace

Assist in developing account plans, proposals, and business cases under the guidance of senior team members
-
Secure seasonal deals and promotions to support the brands’ merchandising and marketing efforts
-
Secure additional lodging rates and availability information over high demand and compression periods to satisfy traveler needs
-
Learn our products, services, and industry, and apply that knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions and solutions to customers
-
Research competitors, markets, and customer industries using internal tools to generate useful insights
-
Guide and support Hotel Partners to deliver the best traveler experience
-
Develop an understanding of contract basics, negotiations, and the financial impact of business decisions
-
Execute effectively based on KPI metrics (targets, goals, and/or strategic objectives)

Promote self-service

Conduct regular self-learning to improve skills

20-30% travel for partner visits
Experience and qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related professional experience
-
Experience working for an E-Commerce platform is a plus

Written & spoken communication, listening and influencing

Proficiency in English and Spanish language skills

Presents ideas and directives clearly and persuasively; actively listens when spoken/presented to

Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of communication channels
