About this opportunity:

The Product Development Unit Cloud & Common & Solutions (PDU CLCS) is a development organization within the Business Area Cloud Software & Services (BCSS). PDU CLCS plays a key role in Ericsson’s platforms and components strategy by developing core components, products, and microservices that are used across the company.

These solutions form an integral part of the Application Development Platform (ADP), Ericsson’s unified framework for building cloud‑native applications. ADP represents the approved and strategic way forward within Ericsson, following modern design principles such as container‑based microservice architecture.

In this position we are looking for a scrum master / software developer to coordinate and coach our software development team in Agile frameworks.

You would join a developer team working on several microservices that together make up the Application Development Platform (ADP) — one of Ericsson’s pioneering cloud platforms. Within ADP, we are dynamically allocated to different microservices on a short-term assignment basis, to reuse our knowledge and competence where it's needed. You won't be developing the same code for years and handling trouble report tickets or long and painful release processes with us. If we wouldn't have vital skills, we can acquire them during the ramp-up phase of each assignment.

What you will do:

  • Develop software and lead an Agile software developer team, as a scrum master
  • Implement new features and support existing functionalities for cloud-based applications for large telco networks
  • Organize and participate in agile ceremonies
  • Collaborate with other teams and product owners
  • Chip in to various microservices
  • Develop and test various project assignments across the ADP platform

The skills you bring:

  • Excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques
  • Flexibility, quick learning
  • Experience in Python or GO or Java
  • Experience in using cloud-based technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
  • Basic Linux user experience
  • Experience with GIT and Jira
  • BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Be open to work in a non-specialized, cross-functional team
  • Good command of English – you will join a multinational team, and a multinational environment
  • Ability to work in team – we believe in strong collaborative teams instead of individual heroes
  • Cooperative mindset – you will work with different teams in close collaboration
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Scrum Master

Why join Ericsson?

  • Flexible working hours
  • Competitive compensation package, wide range of cafeteria elements, annual bonus
  • High standard working environment (recreation room, bicycle storage, parking lots…)
  • Easily accessible location
  • Great team spirit, fun events

  • Extensive professional development opportunities
  • Subsidized language courses
  • Mobile with 5G, laptop
  • Local medical service
  • Option to work from home
