About This Opportunity

We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to join Ericsson’s global Research & Development (R&D) organization. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in a company that breathes technology, innovation, and global impact. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative environment using modern technologies and exploring practical applications of Artificial Intelligence to transform processes, products, and how we develop software. You will grow through real challenges, hands-on experience, and access to cutting-edge tools used worldwide.

This is a hybrid position, with office located in São Paulo.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to software development initiatives using Java and modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with global R&D teams to build and improve innovative solutions.
  • Explore and apply AI technologies to enhance development processes and product capabilities.
  • Work with databases and cloud-native environments as you evolve your technical skill set.
  • Engage in continuous learning supported by mentorship, training, and exposure to real-world challenges.
  • Participate in an environment that values experimentation, new ideas, and diverse perspectives.

What You Will Bring

  • Basic knowledge of Java (from academic, personal, or early professional projects).
  • Basic understanding of Spring / Spring Boot or interest in learning it.
  • Familiarity with databases; experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about Kubernetes, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and modern technologies.
  • Interest in learning and applying Artificial Intelligence in software development.
  • English skills that allow you to grow in a global environment.
  • An innovative mindset, eagerness to try new approaches, and a strong desire for continuous learning.
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model of work in São Paulo
