About this opportunity:

Ericsson Hungary is hiring a Senior Security Engineer (specializing in MTAS/IMS)

Join our Cloud Software & Services team to help develop and secure cutting-edge 5G and IMS network products, including Ericsson’s Multimedia Telephony Application Server and Call Session Control Function. Here you can collaborate with international teams to advance next generation mobile communications and support the product portfolio’s transformation to 5G and 6G.

What you will do:

The purpose of this role is to drive the security chapter(s) in their respective organization; clarify and align the work of other senior colleagues; and ensure that the Security organization is capable to perform adequate security and privacy support.

• Support security strategy creation and execution on organization level and be part of various security testing and verification activities (VA testing, penetration testing, etc.).

• Report to the Security Champion about the status and issues regarding agreed responsibilities, report the security posture of the organization

• Monitor the Security organization and report any issues with its capability

• Organizing the weekly meetings and monthly seminars; review and follow up on the Security Assurance

• Support and assist other colleagues to continually improve on security related inquiries, also the development of the organization

• Ensure that release related security documentations are ready until release date

What you will bring:

• Solid knowledge of product security; knowledge in Ericsson’s product security framework (SRM) especially would be a plus

• Solid knowledge of security standards and best practices (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001, NIST SP-800 series, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI DSS, OWASP Top 10, 3GPP SECAM & NESAS, S-SDLC, etc.).

• Solid knowledge of security tools and testing methodologies.

• Developed skills in development practices like architecture design, coding, test and verification.

• Excellent analytical skills, troubleshooting capability.

• Effective collaboration within the security area with several stakeholders and various networks of people.

• Highly developed empowering skills and commitment.

• Great communication and presentation capabilities, skills for knowledge sharing.

Additional plus if you have:

• certificates in the security field accepted by the industry. (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CISM, CISSP).

• Solid understanding of security processes, documentation requirements

• Experience in handling Security documentation (e.g. Risk assessment, Hardening guide, VA report, etc.)

• Handled Security & Privacy GPRs and exemptions

• System testing or Cloud Native background
