We are now looking for a MS Automated Operations Engineer to secure the coordination, support, management and execution of 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level.

Please note that the role is on a determined period of time.

You will:

• Delivery, execute the MS Broadcast Playout MSTOP processes to ensure that services provided to our customers align to SLA performance levels and delivery expectations.
• Manage 1st Level Service Monitoring and Event Management
• Ensures the contribution and distribution of primarily live content is scheduled, received, recorded and transmitted as per requirements, following the MSTOP MS Broadcast
• Content Logistics process.
• Secure that distribution transmissions are being delivered to the Ericsson demarcation point as per SLA.
• Perform continuous resource and service status and performance monitoring to proactively detect possible failures and act upon them to ensure 1st level restoration and repair
• Monitor, perform troubleshooting, fault acknowledgement and fault analysis
• Work independently and within team to keep the competence and skills up to date.
• Follow-up on incidents, registered but not solved, escalated to next level support.
• Interpret / understand technical information and prepares technical documentation.

To be successful in the role are very important and you must have:

• Knowledge of GSM Network, Access/Core part
• Knowledge of specific CORE nodes: HLR, MGW, HSS, MSC, SGSN, GGSN, 4G specific nodes
• 1-3 years of experience in applying expertise & technology (students in the 4th year are also encouraged to apply)
• English language - min. B1-B2 level
• Romanian language- min. B1-B2 level
• Education: University Degree
• Pasion for Delivering Results & Meeting Customer Expectations
• Analyzing skills
• Knowledge sharing and collaboration skill
• Ability to work under pressure related to scale of business impact
• Presentation and communication skill.

Important and a must are also:

• Knowledge of BTS/ NodeB /e NodeB/RNC/BSC/SGSN/GGSN (boards, alarms, configuration script, E1 links and IP Iub’s)
• Knowledge of telecom protocols SS7 (SCCP, TUP, ISUP, INAP), TCP /IP, SDH, DWDM)
• Understanding of PDH, SDH, IP protocols
• Monitoring using Zabbix, Grafana, The Dude, Solar Winds, Cacti, i Master NCE.

• Multivendor experience
• CCNA, Cisco, Juniper, Huawei certifications.
