About this opportunity

Join us as a Strategic Sourcing Manager for our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) category and play a central role in shaping how we source, partner, and innovate. In this hands-on position you will lead supplier selection and qualification, negotiate agreements that drive value, and build strong, performance-driven relationships with EMS partners. You’ll be at the intersection of sourcing, supply, quality and R&D—guiding new product transfers and platform launches, driving cost competitiveness, and managing supplier risk to ensure seamless, high-quality outcomes for the business.

We have two openings on the team, both based in Rosenheim, Germany, and offer an opportunity to influence supplier strategy while growing your expertise in sourcing, contracts and cross-functional collaboration. If you thrive on negotiation, enjoy solving complex supply challenges, and want to deliver tangible impact through strategic supplier partnerships, this is the role for you.

What you will do

  • Lead, prepare and execute the RFx process for new product transfer projects as well as new platforms
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on the category strategies and commercial targets
  • Drive scouting and onboarding activities for potential new suppliers
  • Manage pricing strategy through quarterly price reviews and conduct annual negotiations with suppliers
  • Manage supplier agreements to ensure optimal contractual coverage and compliance with suppliers
  • Enable collaboration between various functions of EAS (Supply, Quality, R&D etc.) and suppliers to ensure a productive business relationship
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and assess suppliers’ capabilities and performance regularly with respect to overall EMS sourcing strategy
  • Driving savings initiatives and activities to improve cost competitiveness.

You will bring

  • A Bachelor / Master´s degree in industrial engineering, business administration or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong experience within Sourcing or Supply
  • Profound knowledge of general sourcing practices, processes and strategies
  • Strong negotiations and contract management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and in a self-disciplined manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, German language skills are beneficial
